Government of Ontario Indigenous Student Bursary

Indigenous undergraduate or graduate students at the University of Toronto who self-identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit may apply for the Government of Ontario Indigenous Student Bursary. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Canadian citizenship and Ontario residency requirements. The bursary is available in any year of study, including for students with previous postsecondary education.

Awards range from $1,000 to $3,500. Apply through the U of T Indigenous Student Bursary application administered by the University Registrar's Office by February 1, 2026.
