About this scholarship
Sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate students at colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, or Ohio who plan careers in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) may apply for the ITS Midwest Gordon Paesani Scholarship. Fields of study should align with ITS-related disciplines such as engineering, data analysis, and smart traffic systems.
Recipients receive a one-time $1,500 award. The number of recipients may vary.
Submit a completed application form, a short essay of up to three pages on your transportation-technology goals and experience, and up to three letters of reference from professors or industry professionals. Winners provide a post-award testimonial on the use of funds. The scholarship honors Gordon Paesani, a pioneer in freeway operations and advanced traffic management systems.
