About this scholarship
Open to Queen's University undergraduate students in any faculty or school who submit the best essay on the historical development of some aspect of technology. Essays must show thorough research and originality and illustrate technology's impact on the community. Canadian topics are preferred.
One prize of $600 is awarded annually.
Submit your essay to the Office of the University Registrar (Student Awards). An inter-faculty committee selects the winner.
Established by colleagues and family of Gordon Snider, B.A. '74, a respected teacher and student of the history of technology and engineering in Canada.
