Golden 1 Credit Union Scholarship Program

Golden 1 Credit Union members (or dependents of members) who enroll full-time at an accredited nonprofit two-year community college or four-year college or university in California may apply. Applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least 24 hours of community service or work experience in the past 12 months. Some listings also note California residency and at least one year of membership (or a dependent of a one-year member).

Awards are up to $5,000 for four-year university attendance or up to $1,200 for community college. A minimum of 30 member scholarships and four employee-dependent scholarships are awarded; the catalog lists 34 or more awards overall. Recipients are evaluated on academics, community service, work experience, and extracurricular activities.

Applications are submitted online for scholarships awarded in June.
