About this scholarship
For McMaster undergraduates seeking funding to offset costs of international or global learning opportunities, including in-person experiences outside Canada (co-ops, internships, field research, service learning, conferences, job shadowing) and virtual global opportunities such as remote internships or conferences.
Amount varies. Funding is allocated by term from a finite budget and applications are processed in chronological order, so eligible applications may be declined if the term budget is exhausted. Fully completed applications, including supporting documentation, must be submitted no later than 30 days before the experience starts (or before departure for in-person travel).
Apply via AwardSpring after reading the GEA Application Guide. The Student Success Centre approves awards; students are responsible for researching and assessing their own opportunity.
