About this scholarship
McMaster students seeking funding to offset costs of international or global engagement opportunities, including in-person experiences outside Canada (work, volunteering, co-ops, internships, field research, service learning, leadership development) and virtual opportunities that are global in scope, may apply for the Global Experience Award through the Student Success Centre. Fully completed applications, including supporting documentation, must be submitted no later than 30 days before the start of the experience.
The award amount varies and funding is limited each term. Applications are processed in chronological order and may be denied if the term budget is exhausted. Apply through AwardSpring after reviewing the GEA Application Guide.
