About this scholarship

Nebraska high school seniors or current Nebraska college students pursuing an undergraduate nursing degree with a 3.0 or higher GPA and demonstrated financial need may apply for the Gladys D. Goodson Scholarship through the Lincoln Community Foundation.

Four awards of $2,500 are granted annually and may be renewed with a full reapplication. Recipients must attend an accredited college or university in Nebraska.

Applications are due March 15 and require high school or college transcripts and the first page of the FAFSA report. The fund was established from the estate of Gladys Goodson, a Nebraska-born licensed practical nurse.
