About this scholarship

Students pursuing an ALA-accredited Master's degree in library and information science may apply for the Georgia Library Association Hubbard Scholarship.

One award of $3,000 is presented annually, paid in equal installments at the beginning of each enrolled term. Recipients must work in a Georgia library for one year after graduation.

Applicants submit an application, essay, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation by May 17. The scholarship honors C. S. Hubbard, an early supporter of libraries in Georgia, and is funded by donations to the Georgia Library Association.
