GLA Beard Scholarship

Georgia residents or graduates accepted or enrolled in an ALA-accredited master's program in library and information science who show leadership potential in the profession may apply.

The Beard Scholarship is $1,500. Recipients must work in a library-related capacity in Georgia for one year after graduation or repay a prorated amount.

Submit the online GLA application with transcripts, proof of admission, and two references by May 17.
