About this scholarship

For a student who self-identifies as Métis entering second or third year of the J.D. program at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law. The recipient must demonstrate a connection and commitment to strengthening their Indigenous community at home, where they reside during the academic year, or within the University. Preference goes to applicants in financial need who express an interest in criminal law, social justice, Aboriginal or Indigenous law, or law reform.

A $1,000 award made available annually. The award is made on the recommendation of the Peter A. Allard School of Law.
