George P. Black Memorial Scholarship

University of Victoria undergraduates in Greek and Roman Studies who meet in-course scholarship credit requirements are eligible for the George P. Black Memorial Scholarship.

One award is available; the amount varies. The Senate Committee on Awards approves the recipient on the recommendation of the Department of Greek and Roman Studies. No application is required.

The scholarship remembers George P. Black, who taught Latin and Greek at Victoria College for 22 years.
