George McMahon Bursary (OPUS)

For part-time University of Windsor undergraduates taking at least one distance education course during the academic year, in good academic standing, with demonstrated financial need. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents (including those with Protected Persons status) who meet OSAP Ontario residency requirements. May not be combined with any other OPUS awards. Renewable through reapplication in later years if conditions are still met. The number of bursaries may vary by year based on demand and OPUS Board resources.

One bursary of $775 is offered annually by the Organization of Part-time University Students (OPUS).

Dedicated in honour of George McMahon for his early involvement with OPUS; he was the first Dean of Students and received an OPUS lifetime achievement award in 2013.
