About this scholarship
Persons diagnosed with mild, moderate, or severe hemophilia A seeking education from an accredited college, university, or certified training program may apply through the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina for the George D. McCoy Scholarship.
Recipients receive $1,000 based on merit and financial need. North Carolina residency is not required.
Complete the unified BDFNC application and submit a FAFSA, even if not applying for federal aid. Applicants are automatically considered for the Optum Infusion Pharmacy scholarship as well. No separate application is needed for that award.
