About this scholarship
Direct descendants of former Genoa U.S. Indian Industrial School students (1884 to 1934) pursuing higher education may apply for the Wolfe Family Scholarship from the Genoa U.S. Indian School Foundation.
One $2,000 award is granted annually on a competitive basis. Funds are paid directly to the recipient's college or university upon proof of class registration.
Request an application by mail or email with "Scholarship" in the subject line. Submit documentation of your relationship to a Genoa alumnus, a personal statement, a recommendation letter, and a transcript. The scholarship honors the legacy of Native American students who attended the Genoa school.

- Relative/alumni name, years attended Genoa Indian School, and relationship to applicant
- Recipient must provide proof of class registration before funds are paid directly to the college or university.
