About this scholarship
Teen parents who were pregnant or expecting by age 19 and are 25 or younger, raising or actively involved in their child's life, may apply for the Generation Hope New Orleans Scholar Program. Applicants must attend or plan to attend a nonprofit college in Greater New Orleans for an associate's or bachelor's degree with at least 6 credits per semester.
Scholars receive up to $2,400 per year in tuition support, plus mentoring, tutoring, mental health supports, and access to an emergency fund. Renewal requires a 2.5 GPA and at least 6 credits per semester.
Submit a Student Aid Report or proof of FAFSA submission, or a DACA supplement. U.S. citizens, legal residents, and eligible DACA recipients may apply.
