Gary Pruden Scholarship Award

Indigenous post-secondary students pursuing music or sports education may apply, with preference for Métis students. Students may apply themselves or be nominated.

The scholarship is valued at $500 and is presented at the Métis Week Gala in November; recipients are expected to attend in person. A selection committee of Pruden family and Métis Nation of Alberta representatives chooses winners. A T4A tax receipt is issued.

Submit a completed application, reference letter(s), a written statement of eligibility, and proof of registration with program details. Deadline is October 30.

The award honours Gary Pruden's support for Métis music traditions and students pursuing sports.
