Gary Knechtel Memorial Scholarship

Ontario secondary school graduates entering the Food Science major of the B.Sc. at the University of Guelph with demonstrated financial need may receive the Gary Knechtel Memorial Scholarship. Selection is based on the highest admission average. Later installments depend on continued financial need and satisfactory progress in Food Science.

One award of $2,500 per year ($10,000 payable over four years of study). Complete the Entrance Financial Need Assessment Form by April 15.

Established in memory of Gary Knechtel, a longtime member of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology, with matching funding through the Ontario Student Opportunities Trust Fund.
