Gail Fraser Scholarship for Literary Studies

Douglas College students may apply who have completed an Associate of Arts degree (or 60-credit diploma equivalent) with a specialization in English or Creative Writing, or who have completed at least six English and/or Creative Writing courses at Douglas College. You must be accepted as a transfer student into a bachelor's degree in English or Creative Writing, with preference for those attending the University of British Columbia.

The scholarship provides $1,000. Submit transcripts and a 1,000 to 1,500 word reflection through the LLPA department. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required.

Bruce Fraser established this award to recognize students pursuing literary studies, with preference for transfers to Gail Fraser's alma mater, UBC.
