Gabby Matthes Memorial Scholarship

Graduating seniors from Freeman High School or high schools in Gage, Lancaster, Jefferson, Saline, Johnson, or Pawnee counties in Nebraska (Lincoln Public Schools excluded) may apply for the Gabby Matthes Memorial Scholarship through the Lincoln Community Foundation.

Two recipients each receive $1,400. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in school or community activities beyond athletics, such as art, music, drama, or clubs. Financial need and academic achievement serve as tie-breakers only.

Apply through the Lincoln Community Foundation scholarship portal. The fund honors Gabby Matthes and supports students active in their schools and communities.
