About this scholarship
Open to outstanding secondary school students from across Canada entering year-one studies at The University of Western Ontario. Candidates need a very strong academic record (minimum 90% or equivalent) and must demonstrate broad interests and leadership through school and/or community activities.
One scholarship of $10,000 is awarded annually.
Candidates must be nominated by their secondary school. A short essay is required, and all supporting materials must be received by February 14. Selected candidates are interviewed in May; award winners are announced before the end of May. Nominated students are automatically considered for Faculty Entrance Scholarships of $6,000 plus $6,000 toward first-year residence costs, and interviewed candidates are guaranteed an admission scholarship of at least $1,000.

- Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, min 90% overall average on Grade 12 U/M courses, applied for full-time studies at main campus
- Selected candidates are interviewed in May.
