About this scholarship

U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled as undergraduates at a U.S. college or university with financial need may apply to the Fund for Education Abroad for study abroad programs eligible for credit at their home institution. Programs must include at least four weeks (28 days) in country.

Awards range from $1,000 for short programs up to $5,000 per semester and up to $10,000 for a full academic year abroad. FEA prioritizes underrepresented, minority, and first-generation college students.

Application windows vary by study-abroad term. Access Partner applicants may receive additional support.
