FRQSC Master's Research Scholarship (B1)

Open to Quebec-domiciled students pursuing a research master's in humanities, social sciences, arts, or letters at a recognized Quebec university.

The scholarship pays $20,000 per year for up to two years of master's research funding. The lifetime maximum is $40,000 across six semesters.

Apply through the FRQnet portal by the annual October 1 competition deadline. Applications require a research proposal and institutional endorsement through your Quebec university.

Administered by the Fonds de recherche du Québec — Société et culture, this is Quebec's provincial master's research award parallel to federal SSHRC master's funding.
