About this scholarship
Children through age 26 of frontline healthcare workers who died from COVID-19 while employed at a medical facility may apply for the Frontline Families Scholarship Program administered by Scholarship America.
Eligible high school seniors, graduates, and current undergraduates planning accredited postsecondary study receive $1,000 without demonstrated need or up to $2,500 with demonstrated need. All eligible applicants are funded while resources last.
Upload proof of the worker's occupation and a death certificate with the application. Students may reapply up to three additional years. The fund was established by epidemiologist Dr. Michael Osterholm.
