Friends of the Vancouver BC Retired Teachers’ Association Award

Students in the UBC School of Nursing on the Vancouver campus who demonstrate an interest in the health and wellbeing of older adults and a goal of doing research that will affect older adults may apply. Preference goes to graduates of a Vancouver public secondary school and to students who have volunteered with older adults.

One annual award of $1,000 is funded by Friends of the Vancouver BC Retired Teachers Association.

Students must apply at the School of Nursing. The award is made on faculty recommendation, and for graduate students in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
