About this scholarship
Residents of Richton Park, Illinois, who are high school graduates, currently enrolled college students, or adults continuing education at an accredited institution may apply for Friends of Richton Park scholarships.
Annual awards range from $500 to $1,500 and are paid directly to the student's school. Recipients may reapply each year.
Applicants need at least a 2.5 GPA and must submit two recommendations, residency proof, a transcript, and a 250 to 500 word personal essay on qualifications and goals. The award honors Bill Fleming, who helped establish the scholarship program.
