Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund, Inc.

Dependents or descendants of Florida workers injured or killed on the job who received benefits under the Florida Workers' Compensation Law, and dependents of individuals whose primary employment is connected with administering that law, may apply for Friends of 440 scholarships if they demonstrate financial need.

Award amounts vary. Graduate study is not eligible.

High school seniors need a 2.7 GPA; college applicants need a 3.0 GPA and at least 12 credits per semester. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants may not be related to Friends of 440 board members.
