About this scholarship
Duke University graduate students pursuing research in forest, conservation, or environmental history may apply for the Frederick K. Weyerhaeuser Forest History Fellowship. The fellowship provides a $10,000 stipend distributed quarterly. Proposals are judged on significance and quality of presentation and must focus on relationships between humans, forests, and related resources over time.
Submit a title and abstract (up to 160 words), a research narrative (up to six pages), a CV, and two recommendation letters in PDF. The fellowship was endowed to honor F. K. Weyerhaeuser and strengthen the Forest History Society's affiliation with Duke.
