About this scholarship

Florida high school seniors graduating from an accredited public or private school with a 3.0 or higher unweighted GPA and a minimum SAT of 1000 or ACT of 22 who plan to teach in Florida may apply for the FREA Scholarship.

The award is $1,000 per year for up to four years at an accredited Florida college or university. Recipients must teach in Florida one year for each year funded or repay the award.

Apply online by January 20; supporting documents are due January 31.
