About this scholarship

Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors at accredited four-year colleges may apply for the Frank DeBenedetti Memorial Scholarship through the Meat Foundation, which administers NAMI Scholarship Foundation awards. Freshmen may apply if they will be sophomores when the award takes effect.

Recipients receive a $5,000 scholarship. Applicants must pursue animal science, meat science, food science, or a related discipline with at least a 2.75 GPA and remain enrolled in the approved major.

Apply through the Meat Foundation scholarship application. Winners are notified by September 1.
