About this scholarship
Students entering third year of any engineering program in Queen's University's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, with a cumulative GPA in the top 5% of their class, may apply for the Frank B. Lee Memorial Scholarship in Engineering. Selection is based on academic excellence, creative and original thinking, proven leadership, and involvement in school or community activities. If candidates are otherwise equivalent, financial need may be used as a tiebreaker.
One award; the amount varies. Applicants submit a letter of application, resume, and two letters of reference to the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Selection is made by the Faculty's Operations Committee (Scholarships), in consultation with Student Awards when need is considered.
Established in 2001 and revised in 2013 by friends and family of Frank B. Lee, B.Sc. 1945.
