About this scholarship
U.S. citizens ages 17 to 25 with proof of foster care experience, a high school diploma or GED, and acceptance to an accredited trade school or two-year college may apply. Applicants must plan to pursue a trade certification or vocational degree in an eligible field such as plumbing, HVAC, welding, auto repair, or other listed skilled trades.
Up to ten recipients receive up to $10,000 over two years for tuition, fees, and other educational expenses.
Submit transcripts, foster-care documentation, a personal essay on career goals, a headshot, and acceptance letters through the Foster Love scholarship portal by May 8. The program is offered in partnership with Foster Love and the Milligan Family Foundation.
