About this scholarship
Unmarried U.S. military dependent children under age 23 with a valid Uniformed Services Identification card may apply at their commissary location. The parent or sponsor must be active duty, reserve/guard, retired, or deceased from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force.
Five hundred scholarships of $2,000 are awarded annually, with at least one grant at every participating commissary worldwide. High school applicants need a minimum 3.0 GPA; college applicants need 2.5.
Create an online application account, write and submit a 500-word essay on the announced topic, upload transcripts, and enter your USID benefits number. You do not need to live near a commissary; select the location where you shop or the nearest one.
