First Generation Bursary

Ontario residents registered full-time in a direct-entry undergraduate faculty at the University of Ottawa who demonstrate financial need and are first-generation students (neither parent completed postsecondary education) may apply. Open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and protected/refugee status holders. The bursary is valued at $1,000.

Apply via uoZone Online Scholarships and Bursaries by January 31 with the Financial Questionnaire and First Generation Student Bursary Application.

The First Generation Bursary helps students become the first in their family to attend a postsecondary institution.
