About this scholarship
Students in grades 6 through 12 who reside in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin may enter ADL Midwest's First Amendment Freedoms Art & Essay Contest. Only one entry per student per year.
First-place winners receive $5,000; second place receives $1,000. Eight awards are available.
Submit a two-page essay or artwork online or by mail with the ADL contest entry form and required contact and school information. Do not include identifying information in the body of the essay or artwork. Online entries are due by 11:59 PM CST December 31; mailed entries must be postmarked by December 31.
