About this scholarship

BIPOC part-time Master's or doctoral students at York University enrolled in a research-based graduate program may apply if they maintain caregiving responsibilities and/or demonstrate meaningful commitment to community service. Domestic and international students are eligible. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated financial need.

One award of up to $1,000 is available.

Apply through the Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships (FAAS) system with a personal statement on caregiving and/or community service, an updated CV, and an academic or professional letter of support.

The award reflects the Faculty of Graduate Studies' commitment to equity, diversity, decolonization, and inclusion and to access for scholars who balance advanced study with other commitments.
