About this scholarship
Professionals with work experience in peace, development, or related fields and a commitment to community and international service may apply for a Rotary Peace Fellowship. Each year Rotary awards up to 50 master's degree fellowships (15 to 24 months with a field study) and up to 120 professional development certificate fellowships (one-year blended program for working professionals) at Rotary Peace Centers hosted by partner universities.
Fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and internship or field-study expenses. Since 2002, more than 1,800 fellows have trained through the program and work in government, NGOs, education, peacekeeping, and international organizations worldwide.
The 2027-28 application cycle is closed. The 2028-29 application will be available online in February 2027. Candidates apply through Rotary districts and clubs; eligibility and qualification requirements are published on the Rotary Peace Fellowships site.
Rotary International funds the Peace Centers program through The Rotary Foundation to develop catalysts for peace in communities and globally.
