About this scholarship

Full-time PhD students in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science at accredited U.S. universities can apply for Citadel's Global Quantitative Strategies (GQS) PhD Fellowship.

Three fellowships are awarded annually (one each in math/statistics, physics, and CS/EE). Each fellow may receive a grant of up to $100,000 to cover tuition, fees, and stipend for the academic year, plus a GQS research mentor and eligibility for internships and full-time roles.

Submit the discipline-specific application form and a current CV. Finalists present to a decision panel in New York City.

GQS is Citadel's quantitative investment strategy team; the fellowship supports high-impact doctoral research in STEM fields.
