About this scholarship
Outstanding students enrolled full time at a Historically Black College or University may apply to the Apple HBCU Scholars Program, a partnership between Apple and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. Eligible applicants are working toward an undergraduate, master's, law, or PhD degree, including STEM and non-engineering majors such as business.
Selected scholars receive a $15,000 merit-based scholarship plus a paid summer internship at Apple in Cupertino, California. The program also includes an HBCU immersion experience, leadership development activities, and mentorship from an Apple employee.
Apply through the TMCF scholarships portal when the cycle is posted. Past cycles required a competitive GPA and campus outreach after the internship.
Apple and TMCF launched the program to build a tech talent pipeline from HBCUs into Apple's workforce.
