Farm House Excellence in Horsemanship Scholarship

High school seniors or enrolled college students who actively participate in equestrian sport (particularly English disciplines), plan to attend or currently attend an accredited U.S. college or university, and demonstrate dedication, responsibility, integrity, and sportsmanship may apply for the Farm House Excellence in Horsemanship Scholarship. Competition titles or ribbons are not required.

One $2,000 award is granted annually.

Applicants email a written introduction (name, age, riding discipline, academic and equestrian goals, and college plans), a 30 to 90 second riding video, either a 300 to 500 word written reflection or a video reflection on horsemanship and personal growth, and proof of enrollment or college acceptance.

Created by The Farm House to give back to the English riding community; founder Patricia Lehner emphasized excellence beyond ribbons alone.
