About this scholarship
McMaster University undergraduates pursuing virtual global engagement opportunities (such as virtual conferences or remote internships) may apply for Global Experience Award (GEA) funding administered by the Student Success Centre. The award helps offset costs of virtual global experiences that build intercultural competence and personal growth.
The award amount varies and is subject to a finite annual budget allocated by term. Fully completed applications, including supporting documentation, must be submitted no later than 30 days before the start of the virtual opportunity. Applicants should review the GEA Application Guide and Student Success Centre scholarships page for current cycle details before applying through AwardSpring.
