About this scholarship
McMaster graduate and other non-undergraduate students seeking funding to offset costs of international work, volunteer, service-learning, leadership, or related global opportunities (including virtual experiences that are global in scope) may apply for the Global Experience Award. Experiences should support intercultural competence and personal growth. Fully completed applications, including supporting documentation, must be submitted no later than 30 days before the start of the experience.
The award amount varies and funding is limited each term. Applications are processed in chronological order and may be denied if the term budget is exhausted. Recipients provide a personal reflection and may serve as ambassadors. Apply through AwardSpring after reviewing the GEA Application Guide on the Student Success Centre site.
