About this scholarship

Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering Western University's main campus with a minimum 90% average may be nominated for Faculty Entrance Scholarships through the National Scholarship Program.

Up to 15 renewable awards provide $12,000 in the first year and $6,000 annually in years two through four, for $30,000 total per recipient. Awards are faculty-specific within the faculty for which you are offered admission.

Nomination, a short essay, transcript, reference letter, and interview are required. The program recognizes outstanding secondary students with broad interests and leadership through school and community activities.
