About this scholarship

Open to Engineering students at UBC Vancouver who demonstrate aptitude in technical design. Preference is given to undergraduate students.

Awards totalling $2,500 have been endowed from EXPO 86 legacy funds.

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science. There is no separate application.

The award commemorates the 1986 International Exposition in Vancouver and was endowed with proceeds from a prize won by a UBC engineering team in the Innovative Vehicle Design Competition held during the Exposition.
