About this scholarship

UBC Vancouver students in the Master of Food Science, Master of Science, or Ph.D. programs in Food Science may be considered. Preference goes to outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to the profession, and potential to advance food science knowledge or practice.

Awards totalling $2,000 are offered annually in honour of Professor Emeritus Eunice Li-Chan, with individual award amounts varying.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
