About this scholarship
Immigrant students or children of immigrants in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia who are graduating high school seniors, or who earned a GED within the past three years and have not yet started college, may apply. Up to 10 recipients receive scholarships up to $10,000, disbursed per qualifying semester toward college costs, plus mentorship and scholar programming.
Submit the online application with required documentation and personal statements. Top applicants may be invited to interview before finalists are selected.
The Esperanza Education Fund supports talented immigrant students across the D.C. metro area in pursuing higher education.
