About this scholarship
U.S. high school juniors and seniors may apply for Epic Flight Academy's annual aviation scholarships, including pilot flight training and aircraft mechanic training awards at Epic campuses.
Fifteen awards are granted with varying amounts. Pilot applicants must be at least 16 by December 31 of the award year; mechanic applicants must be high school seniors.
Applications require essays, recommendations, a video, and a photo. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

- Community Service Document (pilots only): upload a PDF listing organizations/affiliations, dates, duration, and location
- Two Letters of Recommendation: at least one from a high school teacher, counselor, coach, or school official; must include reference contact info; cannot be from relatives
- YouTube Video: two minutes or less explaining why you are the strongest candidate; provide the link in the application
- Aviation-related photo of yourself (JPG, JPEG, or PNG)
- Pilot-training applicants must be at least 16 by December 31 of the award year.
- Aircraft-mechanic-training applicants must be high school seniors.
