About this scholarship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents enrolled full-time in a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program, with at least two years of study completed and returning full time in the fall, may be nominated for this scholarship. Recipients must not have previously won it.
Engineers Canada awards eight scholarships of $4,000 each year. At least one goes to an Indigenous student, and regional allocations reserve awards for students in Western Canada and Atlantic Canada. Nominees are judged on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, resiliency, and their vision for the engineering profession.
The nomination package is submitted online in a single session and includes a transcript (an unofficial copy is acceptable), two letters of support with at least one from a faculty member, and a written statement describing the nominee's vision for their impact on the profession. Nominations for the next cycle open in the fall of 2026.
