Emily and Francis Binkley Scholarship

Outstanding under-represented undergraduate students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry may be nominated for scholarships from this endowment. Eligible groups include Indigenous students, refugees, students from rural communities, and transfer students from other colleges and universities.

Scholarships total $12,100 from an endowment by Dr. Clark S. Binkley in honour of Emily and Francis Binkley. Each award should contribute significantly, if not fully, to tuition costs, ideally valued at not less than $4,000 per recipient.

Awards are made on Faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.
