About this scholarship
Graduate students enrolled or accepted in U.S. or Canadian master's or doctoral programs with a concentration in applied statistics, quality management, or related fields may apply for the Ellis R. Ott Scholarship. Online programs qualify. The emphasis is on applications rather than theory.
Two $7,500 awards are granted annually.
Submit an application form, resume, one-page personal statement, two faculty recommendations, and a recent transcript between January 1 and May 1. Selection weighs academic achievement, career objectives, faculty recommendations, professional involvement, and industry exposure.
