Elizabeth M. Mauro Reimbursement Program

Career changers age 25 or older who are legally authorized to work in the U.S., hold no actuarial designation, passed at least one actuarial exam within the prior 24 months, and receive no other exam-fee reimbursement may apply to the Casualty Actuarial Society Elizabeth M. Mauro Reimbursement Program.

Accepted candidates receive reimbursement for one actuarial exam and study materials plus six months of CAS mentorship. Award amount varies. Applications open twice annually.

The program was established in memory of Elizabeth M. Mauro to support professionals transitioning into the actuarial field after years in another career.
